The prehistoric Talayotic settlement of Talatí de Dalt is one of Menorca’s most significant and well-preserved archaeological sites, located on the Carretera General, just 4 kilometers from Mahón towards Alaior. This medium-sized village, which was home to around a hundred people, thrived on agriculture and livestock farming. The site’s most iconic feature is its monumental taula sanctuary, renowned for its unusual and beautiful appearance where a pillar and capital lean against the central T-shaped stone, likely from an accidental fall.
